All services provided by my office are tracked and billed on an hourly basis.  Court costs and certain other expenses incurred in the handling of a matter are itemized and charged to the client.  Detailed invoices are provided to clients generally on a monthly basis.  At the conclusion of your matter, any unused fees held in trust will be promptly refunded.  Payment for consultation-basis only work is expected at the time of the consultation.

Rates

Current rate is $175.00 per hour for all legal services rendered on behalf of the client. 

Private Hearing Fees

Clients may contract with a retired judge to conduct a private dissolution or uncontested divorce hearing in my office in lieu of a public hearing at the Domestic Relations Court in downtown Columbus.  The typical fee for this service is $150.00.

Retainers

Retainers are determined on a case-by-case basis and generally range between $1,500.00 and $3,500.00.
