My philosophy and approach to every family law case is to first explore the possibility of resolution by amicable means.  The vast majority of domestic relations matters settle by agreement regardless of how they begin.  Therefore, it rarely makes financial sense to pursue a path of litigation before attempting to resolve some if not all of the issues by agreement.  Generally, neither party benefits by investing so much time, energy, emotion and money into a lengthy and public court battle.  However, in some cases, settlement is just not a feasible approach and you need the assistance of experienced counsel to get you through the litigation process.

Any undertaking in the domestic relations arena can place a financial burden on the parties involved.  I understand that and make every effort to handle my cases in an efficient and cost effective manner.  I will not undertake any significant activities in a client's matter without first consulting the client and ensuring we are moving forward as a team with the same goals.
